Founded in 2018 by Saraban Tahura Turin, Turtle Venture began with a vision to empower entrepreneurs in Bangladesh, helping them turn bold ideas into sustainable ventures. From the start, the organization focused on mentorship, networks, and programs that nurture innovation and collaboration.

Over the years, Turtle Venture has grown into a key player in Bangladesh’s startup ecosystem. In 2021, it hosted the Bangladesh chapter of She Loves Tech, providing a platform for women innovators to showcase their ideas and access mentorship. In 2022, the launch of the Turtle Venture Studio strengthened its support for startups, combining incubation, guidance, and investment access.

At the heart of Turtle Venture’s success is its team. A dedicated group of mentors, program managers, and advisors who work tirelessly to guide founders, design impactful programs, and build bridges between local talent and global opportunities. Their collective expertise and passion have been instrumental in shaping an ecosystem where startups can thrive.

Today, Turtle Venture has supported 90+ startups, helped raise over USD 15 million, and partnered with 50+ organizations. Its story is one of vision, impact, and a commitment to creating an ecosystem where entrepreneurship drives real change.
