Program Overview
The Grameenphone Accelerator (GPA) 3.0 – Regional Design Thinking Bootcamp was held on 28–30 September 2021 in Dhaka, bringing together 25 idea and early-stage startups. Powered by LightCastle Partners, BetterStories, and UpSkill, with Turtle Venture as Regional Outreach Partner, the three-day bootcamp focused on equipping startups with tools to validate ideas, develop prototypes, and prepare for market entry.
The program offered hands-on sessions on Design Thinking, Human-Centered Design, Product Development, Business Model Canvas, and the Art of Pitching, led by renowned facilitators including Bijon Islam, Mustafizur Rahman Khan, Minhaz Anwar, and Ivdad Ahmed Khan Mojlish.
Participants worked in breakout groups to design solutions, test business models, and pitch to a panel of judges comprising ecosystem leaders from Grameenphone, LightCastle Partners, and Kludio. The bootcamp strengthened entrepreneurial skills, fostered innovation, and contributed to building a stronger startup ecosystem in Bangladesh.
