Pulse Cohort 1 Launches in Cox’s Bazar: Empowering Local Entrepreneurs for a Brighter Future.
Today marks a significant moment for entrepreneurship in Cox’s Bazar as Pulse officially launches its first cohort, bringing together local innovators and entrepreneurs with the resources they need to thrive. In partnership with Turtle Venture, Swiss contact and INDEPTH, Pulse aims to create lasting change by supporting the growth and success of businesses right here in Cox’s Bazar.
The event, held at a Ramada Cox’s Bazar, was honored by the presence of Commodore Nurul Abshar, Chairman of the Cox’s Bazar Development Authority, who served as the Chief Guest. The ceremony also welcomed influential leaders such as Abu Morshed Chowdhury Khoka, President of the Cox’s Bazar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Asif U Ahmed, Project Director of Pulse.

Pulse is part of PRABRIDDHI, a Local Economic Development (LED) project, jointly funded by the governments of Bangladesh and Switzerland and co-implemented by the Local Government Division (LGD) and Swisscontact. This initiative focuses on providing local entrepreneurs with access to technical support, essential equipment, and the financial backing needed to scale their businesses and contribute to the region’s growth.
What Pulse Cohort 1 Offers:
- Support & Mentorship: Helping local entrepreneurs with guidance, business strategies, and mentorship to overcome challenges.
- Financial & Technical Assistance: Offering the financial resources and equipment that entrepreneurs need to expand and innovate.
- Creating Opportunities: Opening new doors for local businesses to thrive in a competitive market.
“As we embark on this journey, our goal is to enable entrepreneurs to not only succeed but to drive the long-term growth of Cox’s Bazar,” said Asif U Ahmed, Project Director of Pulse. “Through collaboration and support, we can shape a sustainable future for this region.”
With Pulse Cohort 1, we’re creating more than just business opportunities; we’re building a community of innovators committed to shaping the future of Cox’s Bazar.
